The implemented direct route can read availability for the chosen Hostaway listing, create a direct-channel reservation, and update that same reservation with its proven Hostaway ID. The live receptionist checks every night, enforces Hostaway stay limits, obtains provider-calculated price and currency, and creates one direct reservation. This remains conditional until a customer-owned account completes the production acceptance test. One connection is bound to one listing and cannot collect cards, charge payments, send messages, or force overbooking.

What it does

The implemented direct route can read availability for the chosen Hostaway listing, create a direct-channel reservation, and update that same reservation with its proven Hostaway ID.

Before you start

Copy the Hostaway Account ID and API key, then choose one listing. First AI Employee reads the reservation price from Hostaway immediately before the write and uses the currency verified on that listing.

Set it up

Open Hostaway in Integrations and paste the Account ID and API key.
Load the listings visible to those credentials and choose the one the receptionist may use.
Check a non-production date range and compare the returned availability with Hostaway.
Create one test direct reservation, confirm its Hostaway ID, and test an update only against that same reservation.

Verify the complete result

Confirm availability came from the selected listing and that the test reservation exists once with the expected dates, guest details, direct-channel identity, and Hostaway reservation ID.

Account ownership and data boundaries

The route sends only the event fields needed for the action you configure. Provider credentials stay in the approved connection or are sealed by First AI Employee where the guide explicitly says so.

Your provider and automation accounts remain yours.
A successful transport test is not the same as a verified provider write.
The pages never claim a native or two-way sync unless that exact capability exists.
