Customer-owned Zapier workflow

Recommended: use a customer-owned Zap to map New Lead into Workiz Create Lead. Alternative: the dashboard can verify your API token and show a read-only credential preview, but that preview does not create leads, jobs, or bookings. The Zapier route does not need Workiz's Developer API add-on. Create Job is only plausible after an added intake step supplies first name, address, city, postal code, start time, and a customer-selected job type. Normal call events should stay leads.

Before you start

The Zapier route does not need Workiz's Developer API add-on. Create Job is only plausible after an added intake step supplies first name, address, city, postal code, start time, and a customer-selected job type. Normal call events should stay leads.

What it does

The dashboard verifies a Workiz API token and stores the credential sealed.

Before you start

Requires Workiz Ultimate with the Developer API add-on. Create the token and secret under Settings, Integrations, Developer.

What it does not do

This preview does not send callers, jobs, or bookings into Workiz.

Account ownership and data boundaries

The route sends only the event fields needed for the action you configure. Provider credentials stay in the approved connection or are sealed by First AI Employee where the guide explicitly says so.

Your provider and automation accounts remain yours.
A successful transport test is not the same as a verified provider write.
The pages never claim a native or two-way sync unless that exact capability exists.
